We help e-commerce companies develop their teams

At E-commerce Park of Scandinavia, we are now launching ”Kompetenslyftet”, a new program designed to strengthen the skills of employees within e-commerce companies and provide them with tools to become even more effective in their roles.

Many people working in e-commerce are experts in their specific areas, but often lack a holistic understanding of how all parts of the business connect. This is something we want to change.

”It is only when you see the bigger picture that you truly understand how everything fits together and why each part matters. Our goal is to provide employees with knowledge, inspiration, and new tools that help them become even more effective in their roles”, says Felicia Johansson, Operations Manager.

A combination of knowledge and network

Kompetenslyftet is aimed at everyone working in e-commerce, from new employees to experienced specialists who want to gain a broader understanding of the entire value chain.

The program takes place in Helsingborg and is aimed at companies in southern Sweden. In addition to gaining new knowledge, participants will also have the opportunity to meet others in the industry, exchange experiences, and build valuable relationships.

”It is not only about learning new things, but also about creating a context. Participants get to meet colleagues from other companies and exchange experiences that can be applied directly in their daily work”, says Sylvia Heuvelman, Head of Education at E-commerce Park.

Focus on the future of e-commerce

During the program, participants will gain an understanding of all the key parts of e-commerce, from customer acquisition and logistics to business models and future technologies.

One of the sessions is carried out in collaboration with Lovable and focuses on “vibe coding”. Here, participants will get the opportunity to test building their own tools tailored to different roles, something that is still new to many in the industry.

”We want to increase participants’ understanding of new technology by letting them try it themselves and build their own solutions. When you get to apply it in practice, it becomes much easier to understand and use in everyday work”, says Sylvia Heuvelman.

An initiative to develop teams and strengthen the industry

Kompetenslyftet is part of a larger initiative to strengthen Swedish competitiveness and is partially funded by Tillväxtverket. During the year, ten companies will have the opportunity to participate free of charge.

”This is a fantastic opportunity for companies that want to develop their teams while also contributing to a stronger e-commerce ecosystem”, says Felicia Johansson.

That the initiative takes place in Helsingborg is no coincidence.

”There is a lot happening within e-commerce here, and we are glad that Tillväxtverket saw Helsingborg as a natural location for an initiative like this”, says Felicia Johansson.
