E-commerce Park of Sweden Expands to Mindpark Helsingborg

E-commerce Park of Sweden, Swedens leading hub for building companies and innovation in the retail and e-commerce sectors, will expand its operations to Mindpark and the historic Fabriken1891 in central Helsingborg.

This strategic move brings together Mindpark’s dynamic coworking environment with Europe’s leading incubator for e-commerce, the Future Retail Incubator program.

“Mindpark is a place where businesses thrive. Having the incubator established here is something we welcome, and we look forward to bridging e-commerce with our community,” says Helene Tigerström, COO of Mindpark.

Helsingborg is one of the strongest places for e-commerce in the Nordics. Just recently a report was released, that revenue corresponding to half of Swedens e-commerce has essential ties to the city.

The expansion also positions E-commerce Park at the heart of the Helsingborg Innovation District, a thriving ecosystem where forward-thinking companies, institutions, and organizations collaborate to drive innovation. This move reflects a shared vision to solidify Helsingborg’s reputation as a center for entrepreneurship and growth.

The Future Retail Incubator, known for its proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses, will now benefit from Mindpark’s collaborative coworking community, which includes global tech companies, world leading researchers and experts in everything from tech, marketing and recruitment. This integration also provides the e-commerce community with increased access to events, partnerships, and cross-industry networking opportunities.

“This expansion is a natural evolution of our mission to foster innovation and growth within the e-commerce and retail sectors,” says Felicia Johansson of E-commerce Park. “By moving into Mindpark and being a part of the Helsingborg Innovation District, we aim to create even stronger connections between startups and established companies.”

This move also strengthens ties with the world class research institute Lund University and its REAL research cluster, the leading center for retail and logistics innovation. By aligning with research leaders the community offers even greater opportunities for growth and innovation.

“This collaboration not only enriches our community but also strengthens Helsingborg’s position as a leading innovation hub, bringing the Innovation District even closer together,” says Zeynep Erdal, Head of Helsingborg Innovation District

The addition of E-commerce Park further enhances Mindpark Helsingborg’s reputation as a hub for local and global businesses. This creates a thriving environment where businesses can access flexible coworking solutions, events and networks.

This expansion also highlights Helsingborg’s continued ambition to be a driving force in Sweden’s e-commerce landscape, with everything from international giants as IKEA having their development here, to the hundreds of smaller e-commerce stores that are founded here such as fotbutiken, nybryggt, soulfactory and many more. And all the tech and AI companies in the region, such as HDL, Contentor, Quickbutik
