We had the honor of hosting Pär Svärdson, founder and CEO of Apotea, Sweden’s largest online pharmacy – for an inspiring webinar.
During the session, Pär shared the story of Apotea’s journey, from an ambitious startup to a market leader, and offered his thoughts on the current state of e-commerce and the challenges ahead. It was an honest, insightful discussion with bold perspectives and a unique look at what it takes to build one of Sweden’s most successful online businesses.
About Pär Svärdson
Often called “the king of e-commerce” in Sweden, Pär is a true pioneer in the field. Before founding Apotea, he co-founded Adlibris, which became the largest online bookstore in the Nordics. With a strong focus on efficiency, logistics, and customer experience, he has transformed how Swedes shop online—twice. Today, he continues to drive innovation and sustainability in e-commerce through Apotea’s groundbreaking operations.
A big thank you to Pär for sharing his journey – and to everyone who joined and asked questions!
